The Powerlace shoe is the first self-lacing shoe that requires neither batteries nor springs. When the foot enters the shoe, the mechanism automatically engages with body weight, providing a complete, secure fit around the foot. No need to bend over to put on your shoes. To remove them, it’s simple: a release lever is located at the back of the shoe. Just press lightly on this lever with your foot and lift your leg to slip the shoe off.

After sketching out the concept for what became the first auto-lacing shoes activated by bodyweight, we worked tirelessly with one of the best designers in the industry to perfect the design. From a rough prototype to a fully-functioning model, we iterated and tested the shoes for years to ensure maximum usability and comfort.
